A few weeks ago a bunch of Antibalas members served as the house band at the City Winery afterparty following the Music of David Bowie concerts at and Carnegie Hall and Radio City Music Hall  on 3/31 and 4/1/2016. Here are some audience videos from the night:

"Black Star"

"Fame" featuring Marcus Farrar, vocals.

"Golden Years" featuring Timothy Allen, vocals.

Here's one more, with the full Antibalas band, from January 19, 2016 from our residency at Brooklyn Bowl with special guest Miguel Zenón.

RECAP: Brooklyn Bowl 3/9/2016 with Steven Bernstein, Brian Jackson and friends

We are still reeling from a sublimely wonderful show two nights ago at Brooklyn Bowl with special guests Brian Jackson and Steven Bernstein. Thanks to everyone who came out and shared the pure joy of the evening. We did some Antibalas originals together and performed the Brian Jackson/Gil Scott-Heron classic's "It's Your World" and "Home Is Where the Hatred Is" and Steven Bernstein/ Sex Mob songs "Mothra" and "7 Bars" with Steven conducting the band in the way that only he can.

Our pal trumpeter Takuya Kuroda dropped in to play on a few numbers. El Imperio with members of the Antibalas and our extended musical family, opened and crushed it. Big shout out to Binky Griptite, of Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings who brought his vinyl crates for the evening.

Our friend Craig Carpenter from Afrophonics was in the house with his camera and shared with us some pictures from the show.

Here's the first round:
